The Career Accelerator Cohort is for people who want to learn how to find exciting job opportunities, generate more interest in their skill set, and chart a fulfilling career path. It’s a 5-week virtual training experience with Skills Lab Career Strategists walking with you every step of the way.

The Career Accelerator Cohort is for people who have recently graduated from school, are currently in a job search, are looking to advance in their career, or are feeling stuck in their current job. This Cohort is for you if…

• You aren’t sure how to identify the opportunities you want
• You don’t know exactly how to get a promotion or negotiate for a raise, salary, or bonus
• You want to understand what employers want to see from you
• You’re ready to learn how to build and activate your network
• You want to break free from the fear of rejection or meeting new people
• You want to navigate the job market easily and land your dream job
• You’re motivated to do the work it takes to get the opportunities you want

Here’s what you’ll learn during the Career Accelerator Cohort:

• Pillar #1: Identify. The first week is about understanding your unique skill set and how it overlaps with needs in the job market. You’ll find out how to assess the opportunities that will really get your career going — and which ones you can simply ignore.
• Pillar #2: Your Resume & Accomplishments. Week two is all about constructing and organizing your resume and LinkedIn profile so that they showcase your skills in the best possible way. 
• Pillar #3: Pre-Promotion Actions. Week three is about putting yourself in the right position to make your move. What do you need to learn? Who do you need to know? You’ll find out the kind of on-the-job training, shadowing, courses, or mentorship that can make your next step a no-brainer.
• Pillar #4: Networking & Presence. You’ll learn how networking can become useful to you — and how meeting people doesn’t have to be too awkward. Discover your confidence and learn the most effective actions for follow-up.
• Pillar #5: Negotiate. Most people are really stumped by negotiation — but the truth is that we negotiate every day! Learn the tools and tactics you already possess, as well as some new skills, so that you can get the job offer, raise, or bonus that you want.

The Career Accelerator Cohort includes:

You will have access to watch replays of each session. So don’t worry if you have to miss a live session. If for some reason you need to miss the entire live experience, you will still have access to our online portal to watch the session replays at your convenience and access all of the worksheets and tools.  No refunds will be given.
