Beth and Christie met in the trenches of corporate recruiting, navigating job design, organizational chaos, and the daily puzzle of matching talent to opportunity.
For the past decade, they worked in executive search, recruiting everyone from C-Suite executives to CPG talent to healthcare leaders across the country.
Along the way they started helping students and young professionals with interview prep. Simple stuff like, "Don't chew gum" and, "Here's how to answer that question." Then the texts started rolling in: "I got the job!" Again and again. They realized they'd stumbled onto something real.
In 2020, they launched Skills Lab. They took on large clients, like coaching master’s students at the University of Arkansas. The word spread. Past clients came back. New ones showed up.
As the organization grew, the partners added recruiting services and leadership training.
